Do you feel like your business or career isn’t reaching its full potential? Are you frustrated because you haven’t found a way of overcoming your challenges? Are you looking for a magic pill?

If you think there is a quick fix that can be used to turn things around and get out of a predicament, sorry, there isn’t. It is easy to believe that one critical event or a big break can change everything. Many of us were given a big break or an opportunity. Only to see it fade away.

Using the right fundamentals and practicing them daily is where you must focus your time and attention. There is profound power in practicing the fundamentals of success. Without them, the details are useless. With them, daily continuous improvement will add up to something significant for your business or career.

Vince Lombardi, considered to be one of the greatest football coaches of all time believed in a fundamentals first mindset. Great basketball legends Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and coach Phil Jackson had a similar obsession with the fundamentals.

“First master the fundamentals.”
Larry Bird

“Get the fundamentals down and the level of everything you do will rise.”
Michael Jordan

Consider adopting the following 6 fundamentals and practice them daily in order to improve your business or personal performance.

If you find yourself struggling or doing less than your best, then you are not practicing the right fundamentals. Identify what your fundamentals for achieving more success with less effort will be. Then practice, inspire and deliver significantly better results. Remember, you are what you repeatedly do.
